I beat the Elite 4 on my first try as well... then lost to the Champion. That happened last night but today was a new day and this morning, I stomped over the Elite 4 then whipped the Champ and her MegaGardevoir back to her fancy pants cafe.
I just spotted Moltres on Route 18... didn't even have to search hard for him, was the first encounter. Now time to tirelessly search for the rest of the legendaries and train the boxed Poke I want in my final team.
I'm also looking to evolve my Haunter if anyone wants to help me out with that.

My Torchic/Combusken/Blaziken was able to almost single-handedly beat every single gym... it's really a great Pokémon!
Gardevoir was a beast, as well. Psychic/Fairy is a really good type combination. Probably the best dual-type Fairy combination to have, really. Fairy is my new favorite type! It's satisfyingly powerful.
So I finally checked out GTS for the first time since I first booted up Pearl.
And I have come to the conclusion that the people who use GTS are terrible people, who put up exclusive but easy to find pokemon, and ask for legendaries, or rediculously high leveled Pokemon. Took me forever to finally get an Amaura, because almost everyone wanted either a legendary, or something rediculous like a Level 80 Eevee. I have Eevees coming out the wazoo, but if I had one at level 80, I'm sure as hell not gonna trade it.
I hate people sometimes...
@CanisWolfred Do you still have any eevees? I'm not looking for anything extravagant just trying to train and evolve them. FC in the signature. Please help!
I do, but you sure you want one? They aren't hard to catch. Just look around route 10, especially in the flowery area, and you're sure to find plenty.

@Birdman I feel your pain. Just last year I think, maybe 2, I encountered my first shiny. A Durant. I ran away from it by mistake. I hated myself for that. I still do. I hate you retro..
