horde battles + power item + Pokérus, 30-45 min to fully train the EVs(if you're slow like me)

Infect a pokemon with pokerus. Have it hold a poweritem of your choice.

Here's how it goes.. pokerus doubles the ammount of EVs earn from murdering wild pokemon so instead of 1 EV you earn 2.. In hordes however every hoard you earn 10 EVs

Have it hold a power item (for example power wieght to EV train for HP) and it will add 4 extra EVs to each horde.

Pokerus and power items stack with each other..

Every hoard you earn 50 EVs PER HORDE! and you can instantly go in a horde by using sweet sent or honey.

You can also do an entire party of pokemon (if you got that many power items) and EV train all at once! (if those are the stats you want on them)

So basicly.. either 5-20 minutes of hordes to fully EV train 5 pokemon at once.. or hours indivigually through super training.

STABLE INTERNET FINALLY!!!!! AFTER LIKE ALMOST OF WEEK OF NO INTERNET . . . . Wulfey is very happy!! Hope everyone has been doing well!! Sorry I've not been on the boards though guys. Not having internet was driving me crazy. I was able to get online a couple times on my DS but the connection was really terrible. Hopefully now though everything is stable!!!

Man how did we ever live without internet . . . . I remember having dial-up internet when I was really young and whenever someone called the house it would kick you off. Man good times lol.

I'm logging on right now to work on my Ninetales and Eevee eggs, and should be around this evening so if anyone wants to try to get some multi-battles going, I'm game!

@Xtremetdifan - I saw your post about staraptor and I completely agree with you on the move set and what not. I'm loving mine. I love throwing my birdy out at the start of a battle and it just sweeping like two or three pokemon before it finally goes down. It's the best. xD

I saw a discussion going on about Pokerus. I noticed the other day that a few of my pokemon in my PC have it, so I've been meaning to look up more info on it. And now that I FINALLY have internet again I found some tips, so figured I'd share for anyone interested.

Stomatopod17's post above is pretty much the best way to use Pokerus though. I've never tried it before but I'm going to tonight after I hatch my eevee's and ninetales and a couple other pokemon.

Pokérus is an amazing tool to use when you're training Pokémon. It doubles the EVs. However, it is very rare to get this tool without cheating. In order to obtain and spread Pokérus in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl or Platinum, you'll need to endure a lot of battles. The results will be well worth the trouble!

1. Get Pokérus. There are three ways to do this:

• Battle a Pokémon with Pokérus
• Catch a Pokémon with Pokérus
• Get infected from a friend

2. Have the Pokérus infected Pokémon first in your party, and the Pokémon you want to have Pokerus in your second slot.

3. Do about 5 battles. Some of the first routes you encounter are good battling spots.

4. Check the status screen of the Pokemon you are trying to infect. If it is infected, the purple PKRS sign should be there.

When the game clock reaches midnight, all Pokemon in your party infected with Pokerus will be cured. However, the now cured Pokemon will still receive Effort Values at double the rate, and Pokemon stored on PC will not be cured.

There are many Pokemon communities online that have members that will spread Pokerus.

It may take a while to get Pokerus, so be patient. There's roughly at 1 in 21,000 chance of a wild Pokemon having Pokerus (a third of the chance of encountering a Shiny).

• The Pokérus is spread through training and battling Pokémon who do not have Pokérus with a Pokémon who does have it. The virus does not last forever; after two days or so, it will wear off of the Pokémon and will not be able to be received again. However, if placed in the PC Box, Pokérus will last until you take it out.
• After the timer has run out for Pokérus, you still get the benefits. However, you don't get to spread it around. It is advisable to try and keep Pokérus by putting the infected Pokémon into PC Box before midnight (12:00 AM), as the virus only lasts one to four days.
• Pokémon with the Pokérus will lose Pokérus eventually, and a small pink smile will appear in your Pokémon's status screen. The small pink smile on your Pokémon's status means that it has already had Pokérus, and cannot get it again. — #Pok-mon-with-the-Pok-rus-will-lose-Pok-rus-eventually-and-a-small-pink-smile-will-appear-in-your-Pok-mon-s-status-screen-The-small-pink-smile-on-your-Pok-mon-s-status-means-that-it-has-already-had-Pok-rus-and-cannot-get-it-again
• Have the Pokémon with Pokérus in the middle (third slot). Keep on battling until your entire team gets Pokérus. If the last Pokémon in your party did not get Pokérus, simply switch it so that it is closer to the rest of your Pokémon. It is always a good idea to have at least three Pokémon with Pokérus in your PC Box. Pokérus can spread to different Pokémon in your team. Pokémon with Pokérus are often received by other Pokémon in a trade.

It works. Not with Super training but horde battling.

I can trade you a pokemon with pokerus. All you have to do is put the infected pokemon in your party with the desired to be infected one.

Then go around battling wild pokemon, trainers, anything that isn't over wi-fi or maison/insitute. After a couple battles if not the first the pokemon will be infected..

HOWEVER.. pokerus WILL go away after some time. You can restart the ammount of time it has left by leaving the infected pokemon in your pc.

I infected my combee with pokerus and use it for sweet scent. As soon as I'm done EV training I put it back.

Once pokerus cures on it it cannot catch it again.

What wulfey posted is pretty much the exact mechanics. Those are for gen 4 but I'm not aware of any changes up to gen 6 either..

I'll clone you something with pokerus no cost.

I'm so dumb . . . and I want to bang my head against a wall right. I just hatched my perfect Vulpix last night, got it to lvl 30 today and was working on it's EV's . . . . and then I realize that I have to breed it for hypnosis . . . . . //facepalm
