Have any passwords been released? I have done all the levels I can (need 110 to continue) I do have unlimited energy which os super helpful and I use pokemon abilities as often as possible lol. The 500 needed for mega evolutions is making me wonder if just paying the $25 more for inlimited money would be worth it

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@DefHalan: Well, I think they're not available because they haven't appeared yet in the main series games. If you notice, the Zygarde puzzle indicates it's his 50% form, so I'd imagine the two puzzles branching from that are the 100% and 30% forms. I remember another one was next to Greninja, so perhaps that one is the Ash Greninja. Maybe the inevitable Pokemon Z announcement is closer than we think?

Yeah, that special daily puzzle was insanely huge, but I managed to solve it.

Got enough picrites to move onto area 5. Solved a couple of puzzles there and then the professor informed about new thing. I won't say what it is yet since it can be considered as spoiler but it's great that they've found ways to keep the experience fresh.

I'm still a bit mixed about the level challenges. I like that they are there but since I want to keep my actual "no cheating times", my strategy has been to wait until I've passed my best time and then place the last block. Does anyone else avoid Pokémon powers and ignore them?

i still dont really understand. what these pictroits are good for.

what annoys me is that you get punished if you choose to not use the pokemon abilities to help you. if you wanna complet the missions you have to use those. it should be the other way around.

Wow. Area 5 threw a curve ball with the puzzle in the middle of the area. I was not expecting that kind of difficulty jump. My skills are a bit rusty since I haven't played any Picross games for a year or so but 19:30 is just miserable time for 20x15 puzzle. Just a warning if someone is going to take on said puzzle soon and won't be using Pokémon powers. You have to think a bit ahead while solving it.

I'm thinking of buying the discounted picrites but I'll think about it for a couple of days and see if earning picrites will become easier/harder as I go. I haven't payed anything for Shuffle, Rumble World or this game yet and I've been really enjoying Shuffle and Picross so I kind of feel guilty for not giving them any money. I've paid money for worse Picross games.

@Sinister: Thank you. I arrived at a road block again and can't advance to the next area yet so it's good to have some additional puzzles to solve while gathering the picrites needed.

Chances are you won't be able to use Pokemon in that one the first time you get to it, since Pokemon have size limitations.

For example, a Pokemon that says size: 10x10 can't be used in a puzzle any larger than that.

So yeah... Quite a difficulty spike. It doesn't help that all of the early bigger Pokemon are basically all blue power.

I just got Ash-Greninja from a secret area I unlocked with a code, that was a pretty difficult 20 x 15 picross. I think I'll wait for another bunch of picrite promotions and buy a lot, this game's worth it.

One more password puzzle to solve. They really want me to buy those picrites. I started playing today and was greeted by a message that a puzzle appeared nearby again. Turns out it's on area 7 which I can't access yet. I think I have to wait 5 days to unlock the next area even if I do all the tasks that are currently doable. Slowly starting to lean towards buying those discounted picrites.

wth?
so i entered the european passwords from the link above and it said "unlocked area 3, 4, 5" but then the game wants me to pay 60pictroits. these passwords did nothing for me. and now i cant enter any more. the option in the menu is gone!

@6ch6ris6: When you've used all the passwords, the option to enter a password disappears but the stages should now be unlocked. You still have to pay picrites to play them like any other normal stage.

i dont have to use picrits to play the stages. whats the point in "unlocking" the stages then? i can inlock them by just clearing the former stage.

6ch6ris6: I think they made them locked because the Pokémon forms found on those stages are yet to appear in any other game. They haven't officially released the passwords yet.

Say, has anyone tried to figure out what games the backgrounds are from? Area 30 looks like the peak of Mt. Silver, and Area 04(?) might belong in Hoenn's Route 118. Or are they just random backdrops?

Well i spend the money to unlock the game. And i do not regret it. Picross is as much fun as ever and Pokémon adds to my entertainment.
I am close to 25 hours in the game and i have not even done half of the puzzles yet. Compared to the e Series this game is overpriced but not as much as some might think.
