I just DLed this a little while ago. Got my 3DS open and was waiting for the vids to DL. Looks like all are done now, but I was curious, I know you can have it in sleep mode and let it DL as well, does it matter if the software is suspeneded or not in order to still receive/automatically DL the videos?

I gotta admit that Dinosaur office video made me chuckle. The T rex says he'll just grab a bite here and then CHOMP. He just starts eating the bronto. LOL. I had to run that back a couple times.

I think we've gotten spoiled by the great 3D on many 3DS games, where a real sense of depth is displayed. Have any 3D movies actually done this (Avatar, maybe? I saw it in 2D at home) apart from an occasional sequence here or there? Deathly Hallows Part 2 was the first movie I've seen in 3D, and for the most part I wasn't impressed. The people looked unnatural, like live cardboard cutouts, and there were only a handful of scenes that really utilized the 3D well. I noticed much the same thing in the Captain America trailer. It seems like they just use layers, rarely conveying a sense of depth the way 3DS games do.
Moco Loco If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

Glad to see i've not missed much by not seeing a 3D movie yet. But i really want to see Avatar in 3D some day. I got the same impressions from the videos on the 3DS and always wondered if the effect would be better with the glasses. Thanks for this post.
Aside from that there's one video on the German eShop that doesn't seem to use any 3D. So there might be some of these in America too.
The German equivalent to Nintendo Week is available on the German eShop whenever there's a new episode and that's cool for portability. It even seems to be 3Dish. Wish you guys the same.
@DaveGX It doesn't matter if it's suspended, closed or your 3DS in sleep mode, so long your system isn't turned off, or the wifi isn't off. Also, make sure you selected to receive push notifications. That way you'll get them automatically. I gotta say that so far, i'm liking the Nintendo Video. It was free, so yeah. Nothing to loose really.
I DL'd the videos last night, and none of them really impressed me. Hopefully the quality of videos will improve soon, as I'm not letting it take up approximately 2,500 blocks of my SD card's memory to show a few crappy videos.
At the Nintendo website on the What's New page, it has confirm that on July 27 a music video by OK Go, the same band from the first system update, will be available to "auto" download.
I was actually pleasantly surprised by the videos. The dinosaur office was pretty funny, and the Captain America trailer was very impressive. I say it was worth the extra wait, as opposed to the magic tricks Europe received.

Sunday Jog was okay the first time around, but hasn't inspired me to watch it again. I have watched both Dinosaur Office and the Captain America trailer three times. I still don't like Nintendo's teaser video for the service. Just a little tweaking (like taking out the "Duh") would have made it much better.

I enjoyed the 'Sunday Jog' video; I actually got some serious chuckles out of it. The Dinosaur Office video was outright funny and hilarious. I just don't like the fact that you can't decide what videos you want to keep, instead when they are in the mood to boot a video it's all gone.
At lest things are getting better for us humble 3DS owners.
I like the service and since it can be random updates I hope it adds stuff randomly. Maybe they aren't the best videos but don't expect full blown 3d movies they are random 3d videos just enjoy them forbwhat they are. No need to complain.
Well I'll be darned. That Smurf movie looks kinda neat. I remember watching the cartoon back in the day. I'm not crazy about Smurfs being mixed with live actors but this could be a fun movie.

My thoughts exactly! I initially wrote this movie off as complete crap but I might just go and see it now as it doesn't look half bad. I really like this Nintendo Video app! The surprise of a random new video is very nice!
