Topic: Nintendo ID help

Hi guys,got a new 3ds and I can link my ID its says it's linked to another system which I i don't own anymore,any ideas?

Did you sell your old system and not wipe it?

I formatted it before traded it in.

You need to do system transfer.
No other ways possible.
Or you can just create new ID

I don't have the 3ds anymore,if I make a new one I lose my games.

You will lose the games on your new 3DS or the ones from your old 3DS? If the latter, I'm afraid they're gone since you didn't transfer them

That's utter crap,what about the ££ on eshop

You can try calling Nintendo but this is the downside of your purchases being linked to a system and not an account. Maybe they can help.

I'll try them,no more digital games now

just an update for people who may have the same issue,rang Nintendo this morning(best on hold music ever by the way) they were able to unlink my old 3ds and i wont loose any purchases made on it,they stay with the i.d.

Yeah, Nintendo's been pretty good about that.
