I was at Best Buy and Target and notice new orange colored e-shop cards and noticed that they were in increments of $35 and $50 and it made me wonder why they choose those amounts when most 3DS games are $40 and most Wii U games are going to be $60. Just thought that was odd, its cool if you want to buy a card with more money on it for the regular Virtual Console and games like Crashmo, but if you want to download a retail type game like New Super Mario Bros 2 you come up short and have to add to the card!

Hope there comes cards with more credits to Norway too. Have only seen blue 150NOK cards lately, think there was green cards with either 200 or 300NOK before. Retail games cost around 350NOK(400 or more in shops) on the eshop. A few months back I was happy to find two types of the Zelda cards in a local gamestore:)

Did it say 3ds points card? Or Wii U/3ds points card? Don't really care. Just wondering & that's great that we can buy cards for 35 or 50 for both the 3ds & wii u. Alway's annoying putting on the 20 dollars card. Was hoping for different price card's like japan already has. Just annoying but good to know.

Finally we can buy different cards for more than 20 on them.

Thank's for the info!

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

YEah it said all 3 systems on it so I was excited about that. (It was an American store by the way.)

it could be worse. It could be like Microsoft points not equaling 1 dollar per 100 points. Getting 4000 points for 50 dollars is so unnecessarily confusing.

Wait, are there still $20 cards, or is that amount being discontinued?

I think having the $35 & $50 amounts are nice, but hopefully they keep the $20 amount as well.

THis actually made me happy when I first saw it, means I can get a $50 card for a retail 3DS game and have left over for Tax and a little extra later, same goes with the $35 for games like AA, and for WiiU retail just get a $50 + $20 to have a bit of left over cash for WiiU eShop games
