Topic: New 3DS C-stick issue? (probably only with majora mask)

I was wondering if other people were having this issue. I'm almost 100% it's software related and not a defect with my system. When I play Majora Mask and in full 3D mode, everytime i go to touch the c-stick after not using it for a minute, i get an instant flicker before the image stabalizes and goes the right way. It's as if it goes left right up down at the same time and freaks out. Maybe i rest my thumb in it the wrong way or something? I have no problems in smash using cstick. Anything else had this happen?

I think it is just a glitch with the camera since it didn't have the option before. I get the same thing using the circle pad pro.

Same thing happens to me at times. The camera seems to warp somewhere else for a tiny fraction of a second before getting back on track. A minor issue really, I can't say it bothers me all that much

If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

Awesome thanks guys, of course it's not that big of a deal. Just wanted to confirm that it was not an issue with the 3DS itself and that it was probably something wrong with the software aka game. You guys confirmed it, my worries are gone .

Does anyone else's camera pan very slowly left by itself sometimes on the new 3ds? I think I might have a bad c-stick. The pan is very very slight, it doesn't happen on monster hunter or in the calibration thing, I've also noticed you've gotta push harder to get it to go in the down direction...

I have that problem too, david401. After using the Cstick, the camera can pan / drift slowly Down and Left. I think it's a problem with Majora's Mask, not our New 3DS. I say this because the Cstick calibration tool in Majora's and M. Hunter works great, the crosshair returns to the exact same spot in the center 100% (M. Hunter Demo itself works great too). Also if I reverse the control directions with Majora's Mask in game options, the camera will still pan only down and left. Nudging the camera with the Cstick in the opposite direction — Up and Right — will make the camera stop drifting.

This all makes me pretty certain that Majora's Mask has a small bug with the Cstick Camera drifting down and left. Needs more testing? Would love to see it on an original 3DS + Circle Pad Pro.
