What makes you think it'll delete your current 3DS stuff? It won't, I assure you. You don't have to worry about it, you can still download them.
I haven't downloaded every Ambassador game yet, and I was wondering, if I liked my Miiverse account can I still download the ones I haven't gotten yet later.
Then again, I just reread it, and you're right... It says "Any existing Nintendo eShop activity and remaining funds on your system will be added to those of your Nintendo Network ID and saved to the ID from now on."
The part I'm concerned about though, goes like this: "If you continue, the funds from this system's Nintendo eShop account will be added to your Nintendo Network ID and this system's Nintendo eShop account will be deleted.". Would the non-downloaded Ambassador games transfer as "existing activity" onto my Miiverse account or be deleted since I haven't downloaded them and they're part of the 3DS' account? Seems like the former, but better safe than sorry and there's no other way to get most of those titles onto a 3DS.
I still need to back up my SD card anyway so I'll just wait for that, because I haven't done that for over a year, though it's gonna take ages to copy to a larger SD card(my only computer with an SD slot is SLOW, would take about forty minutes to copy)... Still, would be nice if anyone has a conclusive, tested answer to this.
Out of all the pages they have, I only have SM3DL & MK7. I'm sure they'll eventually set up pages for games like FE:A, OoT3D, & KI:U since they're first party, but I hope they eventually get around to adding pages for DOAD, TotA, & AC:AHL as well.

So, after linking NNID... cant you just go to system settings, change region and access eShop on other country? @anyone
EDIT. Or some way to temporarily log out of the NNID so you can enter other countries eshops? (haven't updated yet)

No Kid Icarus is a bummer. Hopefully they add it soon.
Miiverse felt like somewhat of a wasted opportunity on WiiU alone. Due to the low user base. It's going to be fun to see how the service evolves with all the 3DS users joining in.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

The first 3 are guaranteed, but the others are ones I'd like to see and have a lot of fun on Miiverse with. (Particularly KH3D, with it's TWEWY references throughout Traverse Town.)

There's also announcements made via Miiverse and a lot of gamers post there if they need help with a game.
I didn't "get it" either and rarely used Miiverse when I 1st got my Wii U. Stopping my game to post online about it was weird to me..but I started going on there more frequently a few weeks ago and its pretty addicting.

@Jollykarp 3DS Miiverse also provides a way for friends to talk to each other instantly via messaging. I was chatting with my friend via 3DS Miiverse. Since Swapnote died... wipes away tears 3DS Miiverse has replaced it. I can finally keep in contact with my 3DS friends!
Miiverse also gives a feeling of community and closure from other people in the world who enjoy the same games you do.
