Well, in Mario Kart DD, when you drifted, you didn't jump. But other than that, it is the same as the past games drifting.

...er, ahem, no problem. I understand though. It is definitely more comfy to boost with the stick. I am glad 3DS has the circle pad available because that D-pad is the worst Nintendo has ever made.

Those revised Retro courses look even better now.

I like the water areas added to Koopa Beach. They aren't that interesting on their own, being basically empty areas, but it makes for a nice quick change of scenery. I hope some of the underwater areas of courses have as interesting design as land areas do.

Koopa Troopa Beach originally looked like a fan made level with all the ramps it had. It looks awesome now. They also added a ramp to SNES Mario Circuit 2 and Kalimari Desert.

Now that Daisy Cruiser has been revealed, what do you guys think will be the final retro course? It has to either be an N64 or GC track. There are three N64 tracks revealed and two GC tracks revealed, so it could go 4 and 2 or 3 and 3. My guess is that it will be a GC track, since there is one track from both SNES/GBA, and four from both DS/Wii. So I'm thinking 1 and 1, 3 and 3, and 4 and 4. I'm thinking Mushroom City or Bowser's Castle.

Yea, the ramps were very unnecessary. Not helpful to use and very easy to avoid. It was only the last one that mattered, and it was easy enough to line up without using the first three.

Well, one of the courses I want to see again is Mushroom City from Double Dash......though I also wouldn't mind seeing a DK Mountain that's more close to the original in terms of size. MKWii dumbed it down so much by making it a mile wide. I remeber when I used to feel proud to say that I made it past that narrow cracked mountain side right after the falling borders. But with MKWii, you can pass it without even trying. Stupid casuals. >:[

I saw the new Nintendo Power at the bookstore (still waiting on mine) and looked at the pictures of Mario Kart 7. I saw a cool picture of an underwater level (or portion of a level) with what looked like a sunken ship.

I hope it's wario Colosseum.
