So are we gonna have some Nintendo-Life communities here, or what? I'd definitely like to join. Mario Kart is one of the few console games I actually enjoy playing online.

What you said was ambiguous. "You're all crushed" could easily mean "you're completely crushed". I simply assumed you weren't making utterly ridiculous statements... my mistake. >:3

hopefully this version of mario kart won't be ruined by cheats using action replay codes or switching the machine off before ya can register a win. (this ruined the wii version aswell)

Specials particularly though. It would be a great way to keep drivers relevant when all the stats seem to come from karts now.

Amen. Above all else, I would have loved a return to Double Dash's character items. But I'd say it's already pretty certain at this point that we're not getting it in MK7. ;-(

(Oh, and I like the lightning cloud. Much fun to be had with the burst of speed combined with needing to bump someone. I might only adjust it, not remove it.)

I agree, Wiggler is so cute aswell but queen bee is fat and weird looking and a random choice.

Personally, I hate both additions to the playable characters. Queen Bee more than Wiggler, but still, I highly doubt I'll be playing as either.

I don't know about Queen Bee. I feel a little awkward about racing against her after crawling around on her looking for star pieces. Kind of like running into an ex when you least expect it.

Was wondering, Nintendo DOES own the rights to those RPG characters in Paper Mario/ Mario & Luigi right? I know Square owns Geno and Mallow (I think), I dunno...maybe that's why we don't have any of the RPG characters due to the other developers?

Kamek was in the beta of MK64 (took Wario's or DK's spot I believe).

Wonder why he has yet to even show up officially.

As for Wiggler, if there were specials, his would probabl be turning red and angry and speed boosting throughout and knocking everyone out in his way lol
