I saw that this game just released for multiple systems so I picked it up for 3DS. I haven't seen any online reviews for the 3DS version yet so I thought I'd start a thread to give my initial impressions.
I have played a few LEGO games on PC over the years, so I am familiar with these games. But, I was worried that the 3DS version might be super watered down. I've only played through a few levels, but my first thought was that the game looks great. The cut scenes are nicely done. There are plenty of items to blow up, extra vehicles, and side games/features/collectibles. And this is just in the very beginning of the game. It feels the same as the PC versions I'm used to.
I'm sure the game just follows the same old LEGO formula. But if you like that formula, don't hesitate to grab the 3DS version. I'm not sure what features are missing from the 3DS game, but it definitely feels like a complete game, and its definitely on par with other good 3DS games. If someone has a breakdown I'd like to see it. Enjoy!
