I really hate Sorcerers. They're so one-dimensional. Tharja's so much better as a Dark Knight.
I use Dark Knight's on Rogues & Redeemers 3. Hand 'em Armsthrift, Galeforce, Lifetaker, and then either Luna/Sol/Astra/etc with a forged Levin Sword. Requires a few good marriages to get access to all those skills, but a couple units can get them by default.
I don't really think Armsthrift is that useful. I have the gold DLC and can make my own super powerful weapons in unlimited supply

I have the golden gaffe too, but I still find it super useful.
My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I had to decide between Golden Gaff and EXponental growth.. I went with the former... CAUSE' MONEY!!!!!

Don't underestimate Dark Magic. It's super effective against mages and is more powerful in general
Yeah, but the only useful(really) Dark Magic tomes(Aversa's Night etc.,) are the ones you can't buy in Merchant Shops. Who knows, maybe I've been using them wrong, I prefer Heroes and Dark Knights for my units.
Bulletproof and black like a funeral.
Intelligent Systems' obsession with rear ends:
"I fear my derriere is not worthy." - Frederick, FE:A
"My uncanny valley begs for reprieve." - Tharja, FE:A
Right?! She's the new Marth! The new face of Falchion, and a fan favorite, Nintendo needs to realize that the reason this game sold so well is because it appealed to NEW gamers...
Who most likely didn't play the older titles, I know I didn't.

I actually thought Marth was a girl when I saw him in SSBB...

I see. How is the DLC is this game? Are they worth getting?
Yes, depending on your preferences. You can check the wiki for more info under "Xenologues".
There are 4 sets of chapters (Xenologue 1-12) that feature characters from previous FE games. Each pack presents a scenario with the previous characters. The first two of each pack feature allies that fight with you, while the third makes every unit an enemy. At the end of each map, you can recruit an alternate art of some FE character (note these characters cannot use the support feature). Some of these maps also give special items including the All Stats +2 (when used, a character can equip a skill that raises all stats by 2) as well as scrolls for the DLC-only classes Bride and Dread Knight (which are totally worth it imo). You can check the wiki for more info on the items and which maps give you which item.
There are 3 maps (Xenologue 13-15) used for extra grinding. One gets you a lot of XP, one a lot of gold, and the last some random A-rank weapons. This pack is good if you're stuck in the game and want to build your team fast.
There is the fanservice pack (Xenologue 16-18) used for character conversations...and pictures of some characters in swimsuits and kimonos. This pack is good if you're attempting to view every conversation in the game because this pack also gives you an item which raises support among characters.
There is the challenge pack (Xenologue 19-21) used for well, extra challenge. These 3 maps are tough because they have special conditions on top of powerful enemies.
There is the ULTIMATE challenge (Apotheosis, #22) which is the hardest map in the game. It is so tough that you have to use DLC items (from X1-12) to max your squad's stats to even stand a chance.
Finally, there is the alternate future pack (X23-25) which warps you to a different future where the children fail to beat Grima (until you show up anyway). This pack is also pretty challenging and you can see more conversations between your parental units and their children (of this future).
All these packs are well designed and totally worth the price (even if it is a little too much).
Here's my DLC guide

Alright I just finished the game. Now I am looking to get some DLC action. Which is the "best" DLC pack? Can someone shine some light?
I'm laying more towards future past DLC since it give me more story, but I'm afraid the content will be very short....
I've found it's better for me if I just buy single maps that offer a new skill or some sort of reward beyond the initial character, because I'm probably not gonna play that map again if it doesn't. I haven't purchased any of the Future Past maps, so I can't speak for those. I'll just quote this DLC guide:
Top Tier
-Golden Pack: Infinite Regalia and Golden Gaffe are endlessly useful, and Exponential Growth is a decent earlygame grinding map.
-Future of Despair: There aren't any noteworthy rewards, but it has the best writing and makes the children characters feel relevant. Plus, it's actually comparatively challenging.
High Tier
-Lost Bloodlines: LB2 gives you the Dread Fighter, and LB3 gives you both Paragon and the best high-level grinding map in the game.
-Scramble: It allows sparkly tiles to be ground and gives you some fantastic conversations if you don't want to just look them all up on Youtube.
Mid Tier
-Smash Brethren - SB2 gives you Bride, SB3 gives you the decent Iote's Shield skill.
Low Tier
-Rogues and Redeemers - RR3 gives you Limit Breaker.
Bottom Tier
-Champions of Yore - The only noteworthy thing you get is All Stats +2, which is a filler skill through and through.
-Challenge - It's actually not that hard and only especially noteworthy if you like the Whitewings.
In terms of individual maps, here is what the same guy said:
Top Tier:
-Infinite Regalia - Allows you to gain multiple Regalia, comes with Silver Card, surprisingly decent story.
-Lost Bloodlines 3 - Best high-level grinding spot and comes with a great skill to do it.
-Golden Gaffe - Allows money to be ground easily and quickly, fairly amusing.
High Tier:
-Lost Bloodlines 2 - Dread Fighter Class
-Smash Brethren 2 - Bride Class
-Rogues and Redeemers 3 - Limit Breaker skill
Mid Tier:
-Exponential Growth - Decent low-level grinding course.
-Champions of Yore 3 - All-Stats +2 is an alright backup skill for first-gen characters.
-Smash Brethren 3 - Iote's Shield exists and if you really have nothing better to use there you go.
"Hey, it's X!" Tier: If you adore the character, you can buy them, but otherwise just avoid them.
-Champions of Yore 1 - Marth
-Champions of Yore 2 - Roy
-Lost Bloodlines 1 - Leif
-Smash Brethren 1 - Elincia
-Rogues and Redeemers 1 - Ephraim
-Rogues and Redeemers 2 - Celica
Characterization Tier: If you like the game's characters, then these are top-tier, otherwise, eh.
-Future of Despair 1 - Cynthia/Nah/Kjelle/Noire
-Future of This Pear 2 - Brady/Yarne/Inigo/Owain
-Future of Despair 3 - Lucina/Severa/Gerome/Laurent
-Harvest Scramble - Homoeroticism
-Summer Scramble - Cordelia, Chrom, 'n' Curtains
-Hot Spring Scramble - Hey, we [the spotpass characters] remembered how to talk!
Challenge Tier: The game's alleged 'challenge' maps, sorted in decreasing difficulty.
-Apotheosis - IMO a must-have, makes you actually think a bit.
-Death's Embrace - Not terrible, but the map gimmick makes you think a bit and the story is surprisingly dark.
-Five-Anna Firefight - It's only hard if you don't abuse Galeforce.
-Roster Rescue - You're only doing it for the pre-battle text and Palla's Rally Strength.
