@KO-Cub: There is a time where Camilla makes an attempt to protect you during Conquest. Not to mention that she also loves you more than anything else.
Um...She's neither sulks nor overeacts.....whoever told you that.
Congrats, she tries to save you. Meanwhile, Birthright, Elise does.
And Camilla literally tries to kill you in Birthright, before proving she doesn't love the Avatar enough to get out of her depression and do something about it, about the Avatar. And there's even another fight with Camilla, again.
Wavedashes behind you Got some of dat Maylay?
FE Heroes: 0964602082
Hyrule Warriors has done it again, the Master Wind Waker pack comes out on the day before FE Fates releases (same day if Nintendo UK Online Store's delivery is normal) so I'm gonna be distracted by the new DLC while FE Fates gets forgotten about for weeks.
Is there any way I can buy the map pack without having to get up to the branch of fate chapter?
@Grumblevolcano It isn't possible to buy any of the map packs until you reach the Branch of Fate chapter as the gate to buy the DLC opens up after you clear the Branch of Fate chapter.
I actually like Camilla's character, she was the one person who seemed to be actually hurt if you chose Birthright. I
Nonono.
Direct your eyes to Elise... pretty much carries. Oh and she got hurt too, Elise got it worse actually. Actually does something. Instead of sulk and overreact.
Yeah true, Elise does get hurt, too. I don't know, Camilla just seems to stand out.
Leo surprised me by picking my side also.

I know its probably said a thousand of times..... But I hate how the Avatar is so idiotic in Conquest. Seriously, she has a damn death wish - all the siblings explain she can twist Garon's orders behind his back and the idiotic fool goes and critiques Garon in his face! At least Robin in Awakening knew tactics and when to keep his mouth shut!
End rant.
Sorry about that. Its just annoying that the writing took a nosedive in this game.

Robin is vastly superior to the avatar....
The story in general in awakening is vastly superior to fates.
But the map design and gameplay in general is vastly superior in fates.

Yeah I often found myself yelling at Corrin to shut up.

@Luna_110 And what is Corrin suppose to do? just obey orders and kill all the time with no regrets?
You can also argue how in Birthright he/she constantly saying Garon is the devil and just doesn't care about anything else.
To be frank, I just don't see the point of having an avatar for FE. Really, it makes no sense whatsoever making you the protagonist only that the avatar isn't silent and it behaves differently than you.
Hmm.....so far the chapter 9 of Revelation should have been what Conquest has. Its shorter and at the same time challenging.
If you have the Special Edition, with all 3 paths on one cart- the Brach of Fate chapter is available out the gate, if you so desire. The main menu will have
CONTINUE (continue from save point)
NEW (start game from beginning)
BRANCH OF FATE (start where fate branches)
So you'll only need to beat the one chapter. Perhaps this was available for me right away because I bought digitally at midnight and played first 7 chapters before I got the game- so MAYBE you have to unlock it first (digital game shares save with physical cartridge and visa versa- you can actually copy saves from cartridge to digital, then from digital to another cartridge- EVEN the normal Birthright and Conquest cartridges). But it may be available from the start.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
I'm tempted to sell/cancel my Fates all-in-one pre-order and get the deal from Nintendo.co.uk instead so I get a free theme, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle though.
@jump Considering how the US got an artbook and a pouch, I'd say that theme can't be on the same level.
I've been playing Revelation for a while and so far, the experience is a mix bag. One one side, there are some chapters that are interesting. On the other, you get more units that just make the game plain easy and it almost gives me the birthright lazy tactical gameplay.
So far I don't understand why this game requires you to experience both the games to play it because from the looks of it, its just plain simple and the story hasn't yet made me feel that engaged unlike Conquest which does it really well at the start.
