Creating a special mii - Nintendo 3DS Forum

Unfortunately, Nintendo of Europe seems to have no interest whatsoever in distributing special gold pants miis. Accordingly, is there anyone out there who could circumvent this with a bit of clever programming? I realise that this is not a major issue in terms of how the 3DS functions, but the lack of special miis in the EU renders the INBUILT accomplishment system ridiculous. The staggering amount of mii hits needed already makes the accomplichment system a bit of joke, but remains at least theoretically possible with effort. The collection of special miis though is entirely dependent on Nintendo's distribution system. From looking on auction sites (alot) it seems that people do not sell 3DS systems on which they have invested much time in the plaza and associated games. Does this mean that the plaza and mii features are providing personal attachment to the system because of the amount of time invested? That's true in my case, at least. It therefore seems counterintuitive of Nintendo to not support the very features that foster the user's relationship with their device. Nintendo's response is to point to all of their great games and other ways to enjoy the console. Well, yes I do. That doesn't stop me wanting the special miis accomplishment though. So, anyone out there got a way to make a personal mii into a gold pants mii? After over 3 years, I just want to get that rotten accomplishment ticked off. It may seem a bit unethical to do what must be hacking of some sort. However, isn't it unethical to sell a system with INBUILT software that isn't supported FULLY by the company?

Had one since the 3DS launched (which I think I got last year), they should distribute one online every couple of months

This is from Gamefaqs - NA Special miis. Can't confirm this, but no reason to doubt either as there are usually annoucements on message boards whenever a special mii is released. In the EU we got one on the 2nd anniversary of the 3DS and then 8 at E3 2013. Nothing since then or at any other time. The accomplishment is to get 10, so if in the US, it's been very possible, but in the EU absolutely impossible. So it varies from 9 within 3 months and absolutley none for just under 2 years. Maybe they prefer to distribute in batches in the EU? I honestly don't know why I'm so bothered about this, except that I have a painful broken arm and it's a distraction and that it feels like I've bought an expensive jigsaw puzzle or model and it's got bits missing that the company is holding onto and just not giving me. I was really expecting at least one mii from E3 2014. Probably also correlated to the time I have spent on the plaza tasks -259 hours on 3DS and 225 on 3DS XL. I expect Nintendo will eventually resolve this because it's incongruous given that they usually respond very favourably to fan requests and criticisms - relay stations. Would be nice to have a female special mii too, since us female gamers do exist. Surely there must be at least one female in Nintendo somewhere they could send out.

I agree that i'd like to see them distribute one special Mii after each Direct. Maybe during convenations in the corresponding regions too.
No idea why they'd leave Europe out of the E3 Mii distirbution.

Entirely up to the discretion of NoE. I have no idea why they're not doing it, but no one is stopping them.

To me it would mean a bit more after it because i could _hopefully connect that Mii with something i've just seen.
