I'll get started on it, as soon as I finish the first Pushmo...I still haven't finish the extra part of the game
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
I will be working on something once I have unlocked all of the features in the Crashmo editor, which hopefully is soon. I've been playing it nonstop since noon. LOVING IT!
Making difficult levels is, well, difficult. I try to make my levels challenging, but it's very rare for anyone to come up with a Pullblox design as tough as what the game's developers made. Those guys earned their pay.
That doesn't apply to all games, though, so it may well be a different story here.
If I have some spare time soon I might take a shot at doing one if I can think of a good idea.
Then I'll try for a while, decide that it's not working well enough and give up, but at least the effort is there.
You need to chill out a bit, Raiko. I'm sure people will appreciate your submission regardless of how long it takes them to beat. I like a challenge and all, but a level doesn't have to be super hard to be enjoyable.
@Zyrac: Exactly! I posted a pretty heated reply early but decided to remove it because I don't want to be all pissy over such a small thing, but I think our work deserves a lot more credit than @Raiko gave it with his comment earlier. I think given that we are restricted by time and themes, we have managed to make some pretty challenging levels. At the very least, I find the difficulty levels each user assigns to their levels are accurate (here on NL I mean, I don't mean in general). Though we may not be producing 5 star difficulty levels every time, I can't help but be a bit offended that @Raiko would determine our levels not worthy of his participation because they don't cause people to spend hours and hours ripping their hair out. There are many things that make Pushmo (and Crashmo) enjoyable. I've calmed down significantly now, but earlier I was pretty much fuming lol.
We do some great work and I'm really disappointed you didn't choose to participate earlier Raiko! We need more people participating in these contests. That being said, I'm going to get working on my submission now ^_^.
At what point do you unlock the features in the studio? You guys know I can't work without ladders. ._.

Actually you only need to beat the first level of a world to unlock its gadget... or at least that's how I remember it. And just so you know, the editor is complete once you have move switches. There are less levels than in Pullblox, so it shouldn't take as long to get everything.
Dang! I'm not gonna skip a level, but I really want some of the gadgets. ;__;
