I Doubt it. Why remake an already perfect game? It's obvious the Racoon suit is probably returning based on the game's title logo but Mario 3 is already a flawless masterpeice. No reason to mess with it.

hmmm IMHO I think it's a combination of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Galaxy

I think it's a new title that pays tribute (for want of a better word) to past Super Mario titles.

Y'know, like pretty much every Super Mario game since the first.

The first Mario Galaxy already was alot like Mario 3. It had the airships and the music from that cookie themed galaxy was from mario 3. It was also the third 3D Mario game so in a sense it was the remake of Mario 3. The only thing really missing were the Koopa kids and all the cool suits like Racoon, Frog, Hammer bro etc. People have been bugging Nintendo for years to bring back the Racoon suit and it's looking like they finally are!

Next time, put the code after "watchv=" and then place it with[you tube: without spaces.

Well, I kinda think too it could be a remake of the 3rd, because most of the time, when Miyamoto speaks, he gives hints as to what he's doing. And a few months ago, he said Mario Bros 3 isn't perfect, and didn't see why everyone holds it as a great game. That or it's just gonna be a new experience altogether. Either way, I believe in them and hope the soundtrack will be as awesome as the Galaxies ones (along with the gameplay and fun of it, of course).
