Topic: 3DS Youtube app

come on nintendo! come on youtube! work together!!!!

why not allow 3ds users to upload their 3d videos from 3ds. and also allow 3ds youtube app users to view them on their 3d screen!!!! how cool would that be? this is the only place that this can happen on a large scale. you did it with facebook uploads from photos

they should remove the 3DS youtube app and make a decent browser instead... that thing is too buggy to use anyway...

I really wish they'd put more effort into it. YT is pretty terrible on the 3DS. It's still somewhat viewable, but we don't live in 2005 for it to pass as acceptable in my books. The standards have been raised over the years. I'm usually not critical (and imo spoiled ) like most others I see on the internet about silly things, such as for graphics and 'rehashes' and what not, but this is painful. YT has so much more potential then presented on the 3DS, it's kinda sad. But tbh, I really have no expectations about it anymore. I don't think it will get better this generation. And quite frankly, it's the games I care more about. The games need to come and need to have that standard Nintendo quality. Nothing more, nothing less. If YouTube ever gets an upgrade down the line, then great. It'd really be needed.

i agree with you guys. its horrible. youtube is huge.. if Nintendo could get their foot in there.. think of how many non gamers might buy a 3ds just for that function.. im thinking it should have looked like this>>
8mp cameras x2 at 720p in 3d mode. when you are watching the video in the 3ds video player, you have a YOUTUBE button to upload it.
then you can share that link with friends and those who have a 3ds can view it in 3d.. imagine the possibilities..

Ironically, the YouTube app for the 3DS runs better than the Flash player, especially when embedded.

The problem with the 3D is that YouTube's player is not built to handle the aliased video that the 3DS uses, which is stupid really as it will become the standard for all stereoscopic video, if it is not already the standard. As to the uploads, a better browser would correct that.
