Topic: 3DS Recommendations Thread

@Barbiegurl777 have you ever played a LoZ game or KI:U? just wondering.

See, I can understand you saying it's not fun, but there was PLENTY of content. Had ANY of the reviewers actually played the game fully, then I'd understand. 7 main missions was short, but no shorter then games like COD or Homefront. Then there were Decals, Time Trials (which can basically be treated as regular stages if you must), EXPERT MODE (major factor here), Ghost Medals, and two other modes to top it off.

Games like COD you don't just play the campaign and say you're done. Bionic Commando Rearmed (an even shorter game, although that was a digital release) had PLENTY going for it after you completed it.

erm go for star fox 64 or kid icarus uprising but if thats not your cup of tea i think you should download harmo knights if it ever comes

Star Fox SHOULDN'T be an answer. That is the laziest full retail port I have seen. Cave Story 3D was lacking on features, but at the very least, the graphics looked upgraded.

Here are some offhand recommendations:

Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (Has Mickey Mouse, I guess. This is based off of others)

^She doesn't like Kingdom Hearts either. I remember reccomending it in another thread, but she wasn't interested.

I'll recommend Tales of Abyss or Pokemon rumble blast

how can someone hate KH i mean its just so wonderful and its also children friendly

Ive been mostly laughing, playing Tales of the Abyss. So glad i bought it.

^She probably wouldn't like TotA either.

I remember her saying why she doesn't like Zelda, KH, KI:U, ect. is because she doesn't like the use of magical themes in those series (I remember her claiming KH was occult in one particular article). She won't like MGS3D or RE:R either, because she doesn't buy M rated titles.

Based on her preferences, the only high quality games I can recommend are SM3DL, MK7, SM3DL, VVVVVV, Mutant Mudds, Mighty Switch Force!, Art of Balance TOUCH!, or SF643D.

I don't know what you have (or if you buy eShop games) @barbiegurl777, but hopefully that list will be of help to you.

She should wait for Animal Crossing 3D. Would be a perfect choice.

How's Heroes of Ruin's online scene?

@Barbiegurl777, as for the Paper Mario series, it's an RPG (think Final Fantasy, but with Mario & Mario themes). Magic is still present, but not as prevalent as it is in other RPGs (and it's based off of Mario stuff, like his fire ball ability).

As for Star Fox 64 3D, It's an on-rails shooter, but it's not overly violent (most enemies are robotic), it's made by Nintendo, and the main characters are animals (Fox McCloud, Peppy Hare, Falco, and Slippy Toad. The villain, Andross, is a monkey).
