Topic: 3DS Headphones

I used to take my huge, stuido-quality Sennheiser headphones with me anywhere to play my 3DS with, until they got damaged from being carried around in a bag all day long.

I'm looking for a pair of earbuds or in-ears, more oriented for on-the-go use, a pair I can fold in my carrying case and pull out whenever I have a few minutes for a play session, and put the back without damaging anything.

Note that I'm not looking for some cheap, low quality product, I'm looking for a high-end pair. Just more portable. Any suggestions?

Sennheiser also makes excellent earbuds; i use a pair with my 3DS XL.Very comfortable to wear and a proper bass response (usually lacking in cheaper buds)

Any specific model you can think of? I can vouche for their earbuds' quality too, I own a pair of running earbuds they made in a collabration with Adidas... But I don't know any other models, and these are optimised for... Well, running.

I use the pair I got with my iPhone. I'm not someone to spend $200 on a pair of headphones, so they suit me.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

I've been looking for a good pair of headphones, since I feel the 3ds volume is too low, any recommendations?

people mentioned I should get a pocket amp, but I have no idea what to get (the only ones I use are for violins..)

I use the EarPods that came with my iPhone. They have great sound for ear buds (and good bass).

Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.

I bought a multi pack case, stylus, ear bud combo and they are pretty damn good.

Shure SE112's are fine for me.

If you mention high quality maybe you want something higher up in the range but I think they are really good.

The new apple earphones are pretty good. I like their bass and full sound it has. You can find a genuine set on ebay for about $10.

Can I get a price range? I personally use B&W C5. But they have sorta high sensitivity so I would recommend getting a portable amp.

I use Grado SR80e headphones. They're not earbuds, they're on ear and open so others can hear what you hear, and you can hear what's going on around you, so you might not want to use them in a library. But they're quite portable despite not being earbuds since you can pivot the earpieces. Some people also consider them a tad uncomfortable. But for the price, they deliver great sound.

I play my 3DS and Vita at home a lot, so they're great for that. I'll also bring the headphones with me when I'm on public transportation or visiting friends or family (if I'll be spending time alone playing video games during those trips).

You can find them here: http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige-Series-SR80e-Headphones/...
