@Leftwingzero the next pokemon battle weekend let past gen pokemon battle in it so Mimic Shedinja is able to battle in it

It's very tempting. I found a way to make Shedinja work that's VGC legal, but the setup is WAY too long. This was the only battle I got it to work and win with...against a pathetic team.

@Leftwingzero I'm just warning you incase a mod brings it up someday... NL actually does not allow showdown replay videos due to copyright infrigment. I've had quite a few of my videos posted here deleted (in other more watched threads). Just letting you know incase somebody pops in and removes it. I personally don't see where the copyright infrigment is on showdown but that's what I've heard. Walzgi even said in the ORAS discussion thread not to post replays anymore.

Shedinja can only learn mimic in gen 3 down via tutor? Darn :/ I really like the look of that strategy too. (Ironically yesterday somebody used the same strategy in a stream but it failed majorly since the streamer had a dark void smeargle).

Ah well, you can still try sturdy shedinja.

@megabeedrill what that's so dumb what the heck is the point in the codes then if you're not going to have people see them online

@SirenBanshee it isn't that, it's strictly to avoid problems with gamefreak. Those replays are hosted by smogon, not gamefreak.. they are using pokemon models, sprites, whatever and using them in a free simulator. Apparently the images used are all copyrighted by gamefreak and smogon is causing copyright infrigment using them in their game, which NL wants no involvement with.

Or something like that I'm not a mod here for the exact reason and I'm not page surfing in the oras threads to find Walzgi's quote.

@megabeedrill I didnt know Smogon was using that illegally why hasn't gamefreak don't anything?

@megabeedrill Thanks for the heads up. The code above actually was for a sturdy Shedinja using worry seed and skill swap from Whimiscott and Carbink respectively. Here's an awesome battle spot code from a battle I just had:

@SirenBanshee I think I did give it already to you. Cause I remember you giving me a cobalion for the reshiram and I forgot to adjust the moveset to standard.

I don't even see it anywhere in my PC and I certainly didn't release it. In your PC press Y(search) and see if you can find him. (Or search in pokebank which will list all the reshirams you own.)

Beat SlickScizor in VGC and ExpAwesomeGaming and Blueness in singles.

I forgot to save my battle with Exp... but it wasn't that interesting, the predicting was rather lack luster and it was more of a rock-paper-scissor game filled with just revenge killing.

Blueness's battle was pretty good tho: EQFG-WWWW-WWX7-WWND

SlickScizor and I did a best 2 out of three and I won both games. The second game I didn't bother saving because I litteraly just swept him with the pokemon I lead with like nothing.

Our first VGC match though was one worth remembering: (Well not our FIRST VGC match.. that would be the youtube video I posted awhile back but the first round of those matches we had the day before)
