Once again, Japan gets all the fun. Tokyo Banana, the official souvenir sweet of Tokyo city, launched a Pokémon-themed line of the curvy, banana-custard-filled cakes at the end of last year. Featuring Pikachu and Eevee in different designs, the cakes are available at Tokyo Banana shops, and will be rolled out to 7-Eleven shops across Japan over the course of January.
The most recent addition to the Pokémon Tokyo Banana line is a special, limited-edition Pikachu "Dengeki" box, containing 12 packages of two cakes each, with one of six Pikachu designs on the front (pictured below). The box can only be bought at special shops in a few of Tokyo's train stations, including Tokyo Station, Shinagawa, Ueno, and Ebina, or on the Tokyo Banana website.
The box will be available until January 30th, and costs 3,456 yen (around £25 / $33) plus shipping costs.
Have any of you tried a Tokyo Banana cake? What other foods do you want to see Pikachu's face on? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Tokyo bananas are the best. Always buy them before leaving Tokyo at the airport
Insert joke about Japan getting all the good stuff
This kind of snack box is very common in Japan. It's customary to bring little gifts back for your friends/family/coworkers when you travel. Train stations in big cities are packed with them.
Pokemon snacks are branded so well in Japan. The small import grocery by my house always has a rotation of various cookies. The artwork and packaging is usually unique to that product, as opposed to like Kraft or something, who usually just snag some cookie cutter generic images.
Well, this is the closest I could ever get to eating a live Pikachu.
These look amazing and I want some but also I'm not sure if I could cope with eating Pikachu
@Dogorilla best before is usually within 2 weeks so I end up stuffing my face with a whole box.
Mmm, Tokyo Banana are so good.
