And here I thought it was a OEM Switch Pro new version. I'll definitely pass....here. Until NIN OEM comes out with a newer version color coding Pro Controller-I am staying away from ones that can't wireless connect to the Switch console.
It's a bit too cheap to be that expensive.
Looks okay, but since it doesn't support HD rumble, IR, or amiibo NFC, nor does it work with Joy-Con only games... Also requires batteries. This should be a budget controller. Just cause you make a limited quantity out of something, doesn't mean it rightfully deserves limited edition pricing
I wish Nintendo would announce a new first-party edition Pro Controller. I own the original black, Splatoon and Smash ones, and would like a fourth to round off the collection (I’m not a fan of Xenoblade nor its associated controller). Honestly surprised they haven’t released Mario, Zelda or Pokémon ones yet, or even revealed an Animal Crossing design. I don’t want to settle for Power A or PDP.
I think I say this every time Power A makes a cool looking controller but for the love of god make them true wireless instead of using antiquated AA batteries.
Limited version of only 5 billion pcs, be fast and maybe you 'll find a pallet of these against bulk prices.
Thought I'd have a look to see what was missing from this controller.
I really don't like it
Yuck, it looks like something someone would make as a hobby project, not a professional product.
I'd MAYBE be into it if it was rechargeable, but $50 for a controller that needs batteries and is missing a handful of features is definitely a no go.
that is really ugly

I think it looks cool. I like these master ball aesthetic. I'm not sure how these controllers perform, but I think the choice of a battery compartment is great. Why would I want one battery that once it's used to its capacity the controller Is a fancy paper weight, or needs to be wired to use? I can put my own rechargeable pair of batteries that I can swap myself. Just like I do with my X1 controller. Are people really just that lazy they dont wanna open a battery compartment?
Nintendo hasn't put out a new pro controller since the smash bros one.. I hope they aren't leaving all up to third parties now.
@ComposedJam Man, if only PowerA products weren't garbage
I wish there were other companies making Switch controllers
It's what we called "IP" protection.

You did read sometime back here there was a update Pro controller with different serial number...... so they did update it just not telling they did.
@ComposedJam You didn't even get it did ya. NIN has proprietary wireless hardware for their devices aka Pro and Joy-Con controllers that others can't use. You didn't even correctly read what is meant by PRO controller - is a Nintendo Controller. Your so confused you should check what a NIN Pro controller vs a PowerA or 8bit controllers aren't the same controllers. My Joy-Con and Pro hasn't had drfit as others mentions but then again we are only going on their words and have no verification method other then what Nintendo finds when they get the Joy-Cons back. And I suspect some of them were Abused. I had my previous Switch before trading for a v2 and never had Joy-Con problems. And my Pro controllers had no drift as well I my previous Switch with it's original Joy-con.
@ComposedJam Damn, why make it past the first bad controller and buy more, let alone several?
dpad is hard to see and right stick position is pretty bad
@ComposedJam Yup. Never had one work
almost three years and still the same old black Pro Controller. Nintendo doesn't want many people's money
