Red Limb Studio has announced that its first-person psychological horror game Rise of Insanity is headed to Switch in Q3 2018.

The game, which was released just last week on Xbox One, centres around Dr Stephen Dowell, a renowned psychologist faced with a particularly difficult patient who shows contradictory symptoms of different mental disorders. The life of the doctor himself is also shrouded in mystery, and you must step into his shoes to find out the truth about your wife and child who seem to have befallen a terrible fate.

Krzysztof Sopata of Red Limb Studio has said the following about the game's release:

“For Rise of Insanity we drew inspiration from classic psychological horror masterpieces such as The Shining, The Exorcist and Silent Hill. The human mind can really be a container of horrors when we let our fears and monsters linger inside. In this game we also wanted to represent mental illness in some original ways, and let you literally ‘fly’ through the hidden paths of consciousness."

Features:
- The realistic graphics provide a horrifying and immersive atmosphere that will chill you to the core.
- Haunting soundtrack and professional voice acting.
- Explore diverse locations inspired by North American architectural trends from the early 70s.
- Walk, examine, discover dark secrets and solve logical puzzles.

We expect to hear more details surrounding the game's release on Switch - such as a specific release date and pricing - as its launch draws near. Until then, though, let us know whether you're interested in this one in the comments below.
