Yeah that's SlickScizor, he's a pretty tough opponent and pretty good battler. We've gone back and forth with wins and losses on his live stream. We usually play singles so when I looked down and saw an offline streamer just randomly challanged me to a VGC battle my reaction was equalivant to hatching a shiny... We're both new to the VGC format though.
That burn on doublade costed me though, I could've taken thundy out and brought in amoongus after doublade dies (I can live a +0 scald) but that burn letting him live pressured me more to go for a spread move. Normally I get very saltly when hax like that cost games but this is VGC in a nutshell he could've just swaggered everything I got instead plus it wasn't rank. So I really enjoyed the battled!
This isn't the first time I ended up on his youtube channel either:
I got too cocky at the end.. I should switched out latios and into the intimidaters but I didn't want to upset him during the live stream and waste time. I also should've brought in hitmon before man so I could live a mach punch.
