@Superstick unfortunately not. I was annoyed when they stopped doing them too. But its one less thing to worry about when trading in as long as the store let you keep your charger.
People in the US complaining about no charger now? Us Europeans didn't get one with the original 3DS XL. Luckily I didn't have to trade in my charger to upgrade.
Just bought a regular black one with some sweet wooden cover plates (UK) and love it. Moved from an old XL. The slightly bigger size makes it a comfortable trade off.
