It was a great interview, you can see he really enjoyed his time at Nintendo. In fact I get that impression every time I have to call there. I've worked in call centres and know how mundane it can be, I can also tell when someone is forcing enthusiasm. The people at Nintendo seem to genuinely like it there.... They must be doing something right.
I read a few comments about how they have sent in letters in the past and got personalized replies and thats something that they still do. I emailed Nintendo last year about something- I think it was about a new 1080 game with the moto being: 1080 in 1080- and they got right back to me and it was personalized. I'm 31 and when I saw an email from Nintendo in my gmail inbox, I was excited like a little kid haha.
