Well if you use the Link Wolf Amiibo and scan it in the coldest part of Hyrule, the meat drops will automatically Freeze as it is released. You can only do this one per day of course. There are 2 other Amiibos (bokoblin and ganondorf) that drop meat as well and you can use the same process but once per day. Make sure you are already in a freezing cold place before scanning.
I am a huge fan of this franchise. I even have the Sulk Amiibo in it's original unopened box. Anyone know if they will make this game Amiibo Friendly? Not sure to what purpose, but like Zelda Breath of The wild which gave you resources and such.
