@Heavyarms55 well, I can say for sure that people go swiming in the winter months, at least where I live (Brazil). Temperature levels here and in most tropical countries are kinda the same most of the year, so it doesn't really matter if it is winter or summer.

Well, if they really wanted to balance the battle system, they could just limit the pokemon available to use in each competition (like they already did before). With things the way they are now, as soon as the next game releases sword and shield will become obsolete for competitions or even casual battling between different versions.
They could even make different tiers (something like smogon) based off of the online usage statistics and have them be an option when battling online.

Of all the bad things going on with this release, I hope that at least the guys in charge of TPC realise making the core games annual releases is seriously hurting the franchise. GF is obviously not familiar with HD development, they need to have time to make good games again.

Scorbunny is sooo adorable; I think that, no matter what GF says, I’d pick him over and over again (unless his evolution is really awful). Too bad I’m gonna pass on buying SWSH

I was really looking forward to this game, but it seems, even with their A team, GF is using the same generic bootleg-like attack animations they've been doing in the past 3D pokemon games. And with the few information we have so far on the actual gameplay, I'm gonna jump on the "waiting for reviews" bandwagon before buying. The OST however is absolutely amazing, props to Toby Fox and Hitomi Sato for the arrangements.

I think The Pokemon Company saw people asking for more info on SWSH on social media and decided to exaggerate juuuust a little bit with this stream (seriously, how many people are going to watch this whole thing?), but I guess it’s nice that they’re doing something different.
If only they could address the elephant in the room that is the national dex (showing that they care at least a little about their fans’ requests)... a post release patch wouldn’t kill nobody, you know.

So, they are going to show us the game development system that unfortunately, due to time constraints, failed to port existing assets to their most anticipated game ever (and, most outrageously, continues to fail by denying to release DLC half of their fan base desperately pleads for months)? Interesting timing, to say the least.
