Re: Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie "Exclusively" on XBLA

Back in tha day Rareware developed both BK and DK64 for Nintendo. Nintendo owned Rareware as Microsoft owns it now. I think we all can forget games developed by Rareware to appear on the wii as long as Microsoft is there.

DK64 won't see the daylight on the xbox 360 as the wii. Nintendo owns the rights of Donkey Kong but Rareware owns the rights of the game. Nintendo can't force Rareware to publish the game on the wii. And Microsoft will not allow Rareware to publish a game on a rival console.

Re: Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting

This must be the best street fighter to play on the PAL virtual console. And what a good feeling playing the best 2-D fighting game gives you. 15 years ago I played this game for the first time... what a game!!!

Re: Top 10 platform games we want to come to the Virtual Console

Duck Tails is a superb game, hope it will come to the VC. Also the old Megaman series and Micky Mouse and the Castle of Illusion is are classic games. Still the top games I'm waiting on are Super Mario Kart and Street Fighter Turbo. And the only Zelda I haven't played before... Majoras Mask... so make it fast Nintendo

Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Most old skool games were a lot tougher than the games made in the second half of the 90's. If you just like this game because it's a hard 'zelda' game and the others are to simple, then in no way you're a Zelda fan but a hardcore RPG-fan. Me? I'm both hahaha. I have played a lot of the old skool hard RPG games like phantasy star series (those r tough). I will say it again this is a good game, a good RPG-game... but I would like to warn the people that have played and love all the other Zelda games this can become a big disappointment.

People aren't negative because it is different, why do you think that? Maybe they just do not love the gamestyle. Zelda II is a good RPG that is true. But RPG's aren't that popular as the classic Zelda adventures are (legend of Zelda-link to the past-ocarina of time-etc).We only say if you love RPG styled games than you will love this one. If you expect a Zelda game (adventure style) it can be disappointing. That's not negative... that's the truth.

Re: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

This was the first Zelda game I played. I really loved the game, but that was until I played Zelda III (link to the past). Looking back this is the worst Zelda you can play. If you love the adventure style of the Zelda's in the past this could be a big disappointment. The plot is thin and the RPG style doesn't fit a Zelda game. Why did I love this game in the past? I love RPG's and this was a good RPG.... but a bad Zelda.

Re: Sword of Vermillion

In the early 90's sword of vermillion was one of the best RPG's to play. The game looks, sounds and plays even better than phantasy star and final fantasy. For a RPG the graphics were very good and the sound was superb. The sound fits perfect in this type of game (medieval RPG) and makes playing it that much better. This wasn't a rockhard RPG, but a perfect game to start your future RPG addiction.

Re: Super Mario World

This is without a doubt the best platform game ever. I even dare to say that the gameplay of Super Mario World is better then that of Mario 64. This is due to the fact that the action of a side scroller is faster then that of a 3d platformer. Part of the gameplay of a 3d platformer is looking around, this slows the gameplay down. The action of a sidescroller can be faster because it's what you see what you get. This fast gameplay with perfect controls is what makes Super Mario World a must have.
