I have played the full pantheon of Streets of Rage and my favorite up to this point is easily SOR2. I enjoy the sounds of the original to include the music. That sound when striking an opponent is pretty dang satisfying. From what I have seen the developers are sticking very closely to the original gameplay which I'm happy about. The revamped graphics are different and new, I dig the look. I very much am hoping for a return of Max from SOR2... Maybe some awesome moves supplemented for the existing characters to the original of SOR2. I still play SOR2 occasionally via phone app.
