You would be amazed how many most ppl who buy these are parents that don't know the difference between pomemon go, sword and pokemon stadium. they're just buying wht their kids ask "by me pokemon pass plz". Most don't even know that the same game as 2 diferent versions.
This could all be avoided with a less greedy system, where you instantly get sent to the official page and the shop detects whats your version, or simply one pack fits all solution... Nintendo always doing wrong whatever others have done right for decades.
