Microsoft has said that they don’t consider Sony as their main competitor anymore... which makes sense when you look at Microsoft's decisions lately in the industry. Even though Xbox is still making consoles, they are becoming more of a service per se than just a gaming console company. They should honestly be more scared of Apple, Amazon or Google than Sony really... I think it could be smart for Xbox to offer some kind of service for Switch owners, but other than that it really isn’t likely that we’ll see anything from Nintendo or Xbox. Microsoft should do exactly what Nintendo did back in the day with the wii and distance itself from Sony with game pass and series x.
