''best games on Switch that aren't the 'best' games on Switch'' ''best games on Switch people should know about but don't (but maybe they do jeeze I don't know you all''. ''best games on Switch like insert random game you love''.
The problem is I'm so absolutely-amazing-beautiful-great-astounding-discerning (joke joke I jest) at choosing games; I usually have a lot of the best versions of any particular sub-genre of farming, crafting, sandbox-y type game.
Lucky for me I'll give anything a try, I just wish the only person still making great Harvest Moon style games wasn't just one guy who's now moved on. God I loved HM on the SNES. And the GB. OMG aaaand FoMT. The new chocolate game that guy is making looks great though.
OH hey, BTW Obra Din, amazes, The Stanley parabalalala (playing on PS4, haven't finished) but so intriguing. I keep doing the wrong ahem thing just to see.
Is No Man's Sky a proper non cloud thingy cos that would be a technical marvelution.
I can't wait for the other very different spacey thing, Outer Wilds. I bought it and the expansion on PS4 but it really does seem like a handheld experience so I am gonna wait it out and the feel guilty for buying it again just like I did with Stardew (4 times eck !) and various other bits I bought just cos I ''needed'' them handheld.
Well isn't that obvious, analysing the exact mathematical measurements and ethical considerations of The Big N (we all know what the 'N' stands for, okay).
Also telling myself I'm definitely 100 percent gonna finish Xenoblade 3 before I realise I'm 100 hours in and haven't got past the tutorial area, and now I think my eyes keep seeing double whenever I look at a screen?
...Wait why do I have two monitors help. collapses
Yeah I skipped 2 due to the slightly uncomfortable ummm ''undertones'' but I have always adored one, I remember the buzz around the Wii release during a dearth of RPGs around that time. It convinced me to buy it and I have loved that game ever since. Bought it on Wii U and £DS too (playing handheld was a novel thing still at that time). The ''Gamer'' fandom can be a mixed bag but it did good with the whole ''Rainfall'' Campaign to get RPGs to the west.
Jeeze that was a ramble, hope you enjoy the new one my dude.
EESH this weekend is a mess.
I am notoriously the slowest gamer, and most times I don't even finish games (not down to a lack of enjoyment mind, just kids, creative stuff, ADHD); so having X3, Aegis Rim, and LIVEaLIVE all to get through is something akin to self inflicted torture (but the fun kind where I get to pay games I like and drink Bird and Blend).
Also I am midway through Cuphead, Stanley Parable, and Hollow Knight so yeah opps I may have bought too many games.
My therapist says to blame my childhood and a lack of affection being replaced with obsessive videogame tendencies. Just kidding I don't a have a therapist. Uh oh I think I may need a therapist.

@Zuljaras
Oh also I will totally commission you to make me one of those if you have the time and inclination? I love them so much!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 30th)
@Zuljaras
Oh god I just love these, lucky guy!
What a great game TMNT is too, I remember playing one of them on the Nes and being totally stuck on some swimming section. Loved it though.
