@MajorBen sad times by the time it arrives, I won't be able to play it for another few weeks until I move...... (ordered to my parents place, meaning I've had to take a few days off work to travel back, because things just don't arrive at my crappy flat across the country ugh)
they only received the thing themselves this morning going out for delivery on Monday
i.e. when I'm stuck halfway across the bleeding country, before being stuck in a flat where I don't have room for the switch let alone a TV to play it on...
Got told there was a delay in shipping mine... so it wasn't even shipped until today so should arrive tomorrow
already prepping a good complaint phone call tomorrow (after all, had to take a day or so off of work ,then travel all the way back to my parents to receive it, and then so many other websites were cheaper... ugh)

It's not going to arrive in time for me to play it now
I ended up breaking my phone dragging it around the house because I was on hold for so long (afraid have to eat at some point)
plan is to phone and make a full-fledged complaint some point next week

I'll probably write one as well, but little hopes for that seeing as 4 emails have gone utterly ignored
I can't believe this from a company I've stuck by for 20 years of my life
I've been mocked and ridiculed for my support
and now.... words cannot describe how much of a fool I feel.

with RM I... can't remember what number I pressed first, but missed the second set of instructions I think it was and left it... then got through so
found them to be more helpful than Nintendo (another hour on hold, probably run out of credit by this point)

got email from Nintendo with Royal Mail tracking code
emailed this morning; heard nothing
mail has been and gone
still heard nothing
has tested the tracking number on as many tracking websites as poss int he off chance
nothing
now been on hold for 27 minutes and counting
the biggest irony: I deliberately ordered from the Nintendo store because I thought it was trustworthy
