please please please add difficultly levels, my party wasn't wiped out once in sword and shield and I found most of it dull because of that. series seems to have got easier game by game but a lot of pokemon fans now are in their 30s, we can take a little difficulty!
@AlexOlney you realise the wording was wrong in the quote I highlighted? Surely! Also, what's the obsession with piracy? You must have good inside real Nintendo sources you can use for interesting articles, like you say you have a degree and I assume a journalism qualification. Just feel you can do better than GBA Temp for stories on Nintendo but hey that's just my opinion, obviously I hit a nerve so there must be some truth to what I say.
'This acts a reminder that it’s simply not worth the risk when it comes to pirating games on the Nintendo Switch.' (Yet we write an article or two on it per day giving it lots of publicity and great grammar btw lol) Good to see NL now doing patronizing public service announcements! Can I have a job writing on this site? I can read and copy from GBA Temp and Reddit too!
i really don't see how Nintendo benefit from doing this, must cost them a lot of money to make the effort and get them taken down and do they really make a lot of revenue from people who use roms when they do this? feel they are just a bit too bitter about it all and should concentrate more effort and that money on actually making more games!
tell you what would be cool, if they got the DK bongos working with this! not sure if possible due to commands but they have the same Gamecube port as the Smash controllers which work
@EvilLucario yes I know of two women who aren't hardcore gamers at all but play RPGs exclusively when they do play. They may not hear of a lot of the games unless recommended to them but there is definitely a market there even among the casuals. This has just proven what a bit of sensible marketing can do for a game.
@Savino yep imagine you are right there, although if this is the result of underfunding can we have an underfunded 2d snes looking zelda, mario or metroid game (or the multiple other franchises I could name)? sonic mania and octopath have opened a door that I hope nintendo walk through!
How pleasing is it to prove once and for all that these types of retro throwbacks can still work even when they are not short length indie games. This game is brilliant and i'm not even a fan of the genre. It makes me wonder why on earth Nintendo themselves are not making games like this with Zelda and Metroid etc to tie us over before the triple A releases, wouldn't have to wait years on end for new games that way!
