@TheJebou i don't think it had the largest impact because the U.S. had to wait 8 months for Fates and it did very well there, plus I think if people really wanted the game they would have bought it regardless of the wait. I mean Zelda U got delayed 3 times into 2017 but that isn't going to stop people from picking that up.
I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion but I guess the reason Nintendo took so long to deliver Fates to Europe is because Nintendo games don't typically do the best and knowing that Fates was going to drop off the charts, probably took their time because they know Fates was going to under perform compared to the U.S and Japan so they decided hey why even bother if Europeans are barley going to buy the game anyway.
