Re: Feature: Getting The Best Picture Out Of Your Nintendo 64: The RGB Edition

@roadrunner343 you would usually be correct, however on this occasion you are not. The download and use of ROMs is forbidden by every country that reenforces copyright infringement laws.

As for stating my link to an official website as biased, I find your logic too flawed to try and argue you. Search for yourself on the legality of Nintendo ROM usage in your country and if you check CREDIBLE sources, they will all say the same.

@Menchi187 actually, that's not true. I've read this for years. "It's ok to download a ROM if you own the game". I don't know where or when this started but it is entirely not true.

Nintendo's website states in no uncertain terms "it is illegal to download and play Nintendo games from the internet". There is no exception to that that says "but it's alright if you own the game". Again, in no uncertain terms "it is illegal to download and play Nintendo games from the internet". This is straight from Nintendo America's website. Maybe fact check next time?

Your comparison of an Everdrive to a Nintendo Switch is so ridiculous it doesn't warrant any further discussion.

The fact is that by posting pictures of them using an Everdrive cartridge, Nintendo Life are endorsing piracy of Nintendo products.

To be clear, I am not against ROMs or the preservation of videogame history in this manner, my objection is to you stating misinformation as facts.
