@TwitchyNMast1028 Whilst the Switch will support any microSD card size, I would advise looking into cards by Sandisk or Samsung. They both currently have 256GB cards (the price is higher, but your data is protected more).
I'm really torn. On one hand I'm really interested to see what atmosphere Octopath goes, the other hand is screaming "But, portable Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5+2.8!" Then again, it's only January and if I remembered correctly didn't Kimishima-san mention something about 80+ third-party titles?
