Yes, Hyrule is not restored to it's former glory after the closing credits, but if that's your expectation then you missed the point entirely.

BotW is not a story about you "saving the girl". It is a story about the girl saving you.

Reflect on that a bit, then finish the game. After all, it's not your story you're finishing, it's Zelda's.
