I know I dont speak for everyone, but I prefer a little bit of staggering in the release window.
firstly because of time, ( no way can I play all games in one month
secondly for my wallets sake. it'll be looking a bit lean once i pick up super mario party and smash bros later this year.
( still trying to recover after that past couple months, donkey kong, hyrule warriors, tennis aces, and now octopath and captian toad.)
I would even go so far to say that they are still firing off releases rather frequently. (regardless of your oppinion of ports, they are still releases on this console)

I am perfectly happy with the games this year.
