@MoldyPasta if you visit Greymoor or say Shellwood etc. before entering Deep Docks, Lace will have moved on (InTheLittleWood's live YT VOD playthrough skips her entirely until Choral Chambers and he's confused as to who she is upon 1st meeting as she speaks as if they've met).
The Lace 1 fight isn't mandatory as you can find 5 Fleas and follow the Flea Caravan to Greymoor completely skipping her and then drop down through Far Fields from the top to get the Drifter's Cloak and if your 1st encounter with her is in the Choral Chambers, her Deep Docks encounter will be gone.
