@johnvboy A lot of people is complaining on metacritic. I don't agree with all the 0 ratings, but seeing number of bad user reviews and comments here, I think problem exists. Of course people will say AC is being review bombed and there is no problem. Just because it is fine for you, does not mean it is fine for others.
@johnvboy I bought it mainly for my wife knowing this limitation. I am the 'second player' here, and I think my expirience is lesser, but still can be enjoyable. This is my first Animal Crossing, and I was not fully aware how severe this limitation is. I can live with it, I'll just wait for P5R, and maybe jump into AC from time to time.
Sharing example is fine if both players have similar time to play the game and can take turns to play. Otherwise, first player gets to progress the island, while the other players options are very limited. I watched the gameplay for first and second day, then played myself. The difference between expiriences is huge. I would be fine with it if this would be players choice, but forcing this limitation is very strange to me. I don't want to buy second switch just for this game, one is more than enough for us in every other game.
