Charles was replaced without being told initially and the ambassador stuff was probably made up post-hoc to save face.

Nintendo has mistreated both of their key talents in this case.

Charles did clips after this for Mario Kart Tour which sound more “normal” by comparison. Luigi’s Mansion 3 was made by Next Level Games, not EPD.

Doesn’t matter if it’s Mario, Zelda, or Sonic. You need competent writers and directors for this to work.

Better plot and replace the VA. (Both won’t happen)

Only character I wanted was Toadsworth but that is pretty much impossible now due to Mario 1.

Also what about Wonder turned you off? The VA?
