@JudgeMethos i have a gamecube collection and very much intend on adding eternal darkness at some point but a switch port would work just as well if they remastered it i’d have no trouble buying it at full or near full price
@WolfyWardark can’t really comment on the reliability of a 3ds but the game cube is also one of the best built systems ever as far as not getting damaged pretty sure there were videos of them surviving drops from 10 or 20 feet and the internal hardware was just as sturdy. One of my friends said to burn out the motors that spin the game disc which is what causes a lot of consoles to fail you would probably need to leave it running for 20 years straight (likely an exaggeration but the hardware is great) the real issue is to me the switch feels pretty flimsy like one bad drop is all it would take to decimate it, a problem exacerbated by the fact it’s portable. That said yeah nintendo has a great track record on hardware so i’d recommend buying cases and being very careful because of the lack of transfers but i’m personally not terribly concerned about it either
