@Shiro28 Nothing changes. Nintendo already owned the IP with the mbefore, owned alone the trademark and had publishing rights so they already could do whatever they wanted with it.
The contrast of those jp charts and the news about Konami reorganization and how they "don't make games" is just hilarious and sad to see, because it shows how few people actually research before they post comments.
@westman98 That's because most people don't do research, including the very author of this article who clearly don't understand the difference of Konami Digital Entertainment, Konami Amusement, Konami Gaming and Konami Sports which all focus on different business. And of course, he don't look at Konami financials so he and others here and the internet don't know that Konami makes most of their money with mobile and AA titles with Konami Digital Entertainment (the konami they know) instead of the meme of pachinko and so on. It's absolutely insane how much misinformation surrounds this company, even more when this post here list momotaro dentetsu as a huge success for them but the author ignore on his argument later on and so do the fans.
I would love for the author ofthe article and whoever disagree to come and discuss, because then I can point out every single financial report from them showing how big is the difference they have between their other divisions compared to how much they make with games.
Momotaro Dentetsu reached 2 million and there's no article on Nintendo Life about it even though you guys pick up a lot of articles from gematsu which did two articles for the 1 and 2 million.
Konami has a huge success and you guys don't help lol
Dear god, this article is horrible. Tencent isn't known for league of legends or Clash of Clans. They don't even publish those games. Tencent Games publish Honor of Kings and other stuff on China and Asia and they are just sister companies to those other subsidiaries of Tencent.
Tencent, the one you mention, is the giant conglomerate that isn't involved with games and acts as investors for those many companies. Like seriously, do a research before to know how the organization of those companies work..

Re: Japanese Charts: Switch Games Make Up The Entire Top 20
@PALversusNTSC And yet many other jp-only games had articles in the past
Re: Pokkén Tournament Producer Katsuhiro Harada Up For A Sequel, But Says It's Not Bandai Namco's Decision To Make
@SeantheDon29 TPC is literally the publisher of Pokkén (and any pokemon game) in all of its platforms and they aren't a developer.

@Menardi I love how you talk about this as if the bubble represents the mass market lol
