The hardcore turn-based Strategy/RPG fans Fire Emblem attracts don't have a strong presence on consoles because development costs are too high. Platformers (Mario, Zelda) and first-person shooters rule the sales on the big screen. Radiant Dawn's scaled down Support system suggests the simulation that made Awakening's characters so emotionally involving will be the first element to be parsed out. I don't see why Nintendo and consumers can't be content with a quality handheld production.
