Doom Slayer would be an ideal smash fighter. He greatly represents FPS games, has a history on Nintendo, and has the in your face fast fighting style that would make him fit in. More than a glorified Samus, he could include and aiming mechanic like Inkling or a run and gun mode like banjo. A weapon wheel could be cool but not required as long as they incorporate weapons in his other basic and smash attacks. I would love to see him use some of his new Eternal equipment and new platforming skills like the air dash.
