Re: Contents of 3DS Box Revealed

ItsFuzzyPickles

Not sure why people are taking this as confirmation that the 3DS will only be 2 GB, that's just how much additional memory you can save. Which IMO, is a good thing.

@Kirk: Meh, I don't have a problem not playing the game while the 3DS is charging. Not like I did that with my DS or DSi either.

Re: Four Million 3DS Systems Available Worldwide for Launch Window

ItsFuzzyPickles

That really depends. The Nintendo 3DS looks to be Nintendo's best handheld so far with it's titles and it's supposed improved online function, plus there has been a lot of hype for it. However, we also have to remember the $250-$300 price range, which quite frankly, is expensive for a handheld.

I see it being a possibility for it to sell out worldwide due to the hype it's getting, but there could be a few sitting in stores due to the price.

Re: 3DS Battery Life Revealed

ItsFuzzyPickles

Not terrible battery lifespan. My DSi usually don't last more then around four hours anyway.

What I'm more concern about is that this will lead to a succession of 3DS revisions after revisions. After being disappointed with the DSi to the point where I did not mind losing it to an accidental wash, I am not buying more then one version of a console.

Looks like I'll have to wait a couple of years before buying the 3DS just to buy the likely revisions. I was honestly hoping this would break the annoying traditions of more then two revisions of handhelds that started with the Game Boy Advance, but the battery lifespan, while not something I consider bad, will probably contribute to at least two revisions.

Re: Nintendo Download: 3rd January 2011 (North America)

ItsFuzzyPickles

Well 2011 got off to a bad start for Nintendo Wii. Sadly, I have a feeling that this may be the Wii's worst year (and the first I can honestly say is bad. I can even consider 2008 a decent year for the Wii).

At least my PS3 should be here within a matter of a few days and there's always a large amount of good and great Wii games I have not picked up from previous years. Should look at them soon.

@theblackdragon: Doesn't mean Nintendo can keep treating Virtual Console like crap. I've been incredibly unsatisfied with it's offering ever since March, 2010. I'm sorry but either Nintendo change with VC or I'm going to start retro collecting cartridges of games I want.

Re: Talking Point: Your Favourite Nintendo Christmas Memories

ItsFuzzyPickles

When I got coal.

Just kidding. My favorite Christmas memory would be in Christmas of 1999 when I got my Nintendo 64. I don't recall how I felt but if I could guess, I would say I was pretty excited for it. It would then go on to make me the gamer I am and the Nintendo 64 would end up being my favorite gaming system.

Re: WiiWare Super Meat Boy Gets Canned

ItsFuzzyPickles

I tested my computer for this game and it pass, although it doesn't really meet the recommended standard. I'm planning on getting this game eventually when I get a debit card, so should I buy the game with my computer standard?

Re: WiiWare Super Meat Boy Gets Canned

ItsFuzzyPickles

@bboy2970: Thanks for the speedy response. We can only hope that the next console comes out in 2012 so we don't have to deal with the BS constricting limit.

At least there's the possibility for a 3DS and/or Wii release, so I'm still willing to give them a chance, but I'm still pretty vexxed at them for treating us like this.

Re: Super Hang-On

ItsFuzzyPickles

Finally, a game that sounds like an Arcade game and not feel like a NES/ported Genesis game. I should consider picking this one up.

Re: This Safe Sex Video Owes a Surprising Amount to Mario and Mega Man

ItsFuzzyPickles

Only specific forms of condoms (Like laytax for example) protects against teen pregnancy and STI's/STD's. Even then, they do not fully protect you from the potential diseases that could be associated with it.

There are no form of "safe sex" and even thought this is video game influenced, it doesn't change me being a proud abstinence.

Want to know what would be a good video? An eight-bit video about abstinence.

Re: Wii Speak's Time is Officially Over

ItsFuzzyPickles

If this is true, I will be rightfully infuriated at Nintendo because I and many others were rightfully rip-offed. That being said, this isn't official confirmation as Amazon isn't always the company that tells the truth. It's about as reliable as the source that said Earthbound is not coming to the Virtual Console, which has not been confirmed by Nintendo yet.

Edit: Read the link to #25. So they aren't discontinuing Wii Speak after all? Looks like we got official confirmation. So many people got worked up over nothing.

Re: Nintendo Expecting Consumers to Buy Ho-Ho-Hardware This Christmas

ItsFuzzyPickles

Actually pretty glad that Nintendo is refraining from releasing their new console.

This is promised to be a longer generation then others with a revolutionary console (Nintendo Wii) and two giants (PS3 and X360) competing with each other. Given that many people are not in good economic shapes, it's a good idea to refrain from that. Yes they're releasing the Nintendo 3DS a few months from now, but good handhelds can sell well at anytime as long as you play the right cards. With consoles, they need to be a lot more precise with releasing it and release it at the right time. See the third handheld generation, it lasted six and a half years. I think the Wii will last at least eight years.

Re: Reggie Wonders Where Metroid: Other M Sales Went Wrong

ItsFuzzyPickles

I can't really point any fingers yet since I have not played it yet. That being said:

@oldgamesony: Earthbound and Metroid are two completely different series. Sure they are from Nintendo properties, but they aren't from the same series. That's like blaming the Metroid series for Earthbound not being on the Virtual Console. Saying that they're interchangeable in Nintendo's disappointment in the sales makes absolutely no sense.

Re: Bplus Blowing Up 3DS with Vector Tank 3D+

ItsFuzzyPickles

This is butt ulgy (Seriously, it's almost as bad as a SNES FX Chip/very early fifth generation games, except some of those games were actually good while this looks to fail in the game play and visuals departments).

I'm surprised I didn't get the side effect of headache, nausea, and/or throwing up after looking at it. If this was on the Nintendo DS, I would possibly call it passable, but seriously, this is destined for the Nintendo 3DS. With as powerful as a system as the Nintendo 3DS, this is totally unacceptable and does not look fun to play. Not many people are going to buy a terrible-looking game like this, especially if it does turn out to be shovelware.

Re: DS to Have Life After 3DS, says Nintendo

ItsFuzzyPickles

I think the reason why the GBA lasted so long after the DS came out was because it was out only three years when the Nintendo DS debuted so it had some time left.

The Nintendo DS will probably fade away very quickly since it's been going on for six years, which is a remarkable streak without a true successor.

Re: See Plenty of New 3DS Games in Motion Right Here

ItsFuzzyPickles

Oh. My. God.

Following the 3DS on and off since it was officially annouced E3 2010, from what I have seen, I will say this:

This console has the potential to be the very best we have seen yet in video games. I know that previous consoles from Nintendo have been excellent, but never have I've seen a console with such high potential. This is a console to watch and if everything goes according to plan, a console to bow down to.

Re: E3 2010: Wii Predictions

ItsFuzzyPickles

I'm highly looking forward to E3 2010.

As for the prediction this, it's mostly plausible, although I do disagree with F-zero, Kid Icarus, and Star Fox being unlikely reveals. More Excitebots and a true Donkey Kong game is a bit more unlikely IMO.
