I'd be happy with the HD 2D remake style, but I would really like to see something 3D, but animated like Dragon Ball FighterZ.
I'd like the gameplay to remain turn based with the ATB gauge, but with some tweaks. Maybe being able to gradually spend some gauge as you move a character to a more strategic spot. I'd also like to add a Street Fighter style super bar where you can spend meter to do EX (more powerful) versions of Techs, and have some of the higher level Techs, like Luminaire, be available once the super meter has been filled. Adding dynamic camera angles to EX and super moves as well as battle finishers would be awesome.
I'd like to have double techs and more triple techs for Magus so he feels like a more fully realized party member, and I'd like to be able to play as Glenn instead of Frog if you choose to fight Magus one on one.
