This was when Jumbo the evil Pidgey summoned his minions to execute the midnight massacre at saffron. Chad, Amaybe, Abblri, TTP, Dhy, and potentially Amn the Rhyhorn were lost. only Alakazam managed to wake in time to fend off and survive the great scourge, bit Jumbo managed to get back on the team. Almost the entirety of this day would be spent in vain. We were grounded for hours from out attempts to fly away by a simple press of the B button. Once finally free we gained the power of Hope the Lapras... but even Hope was lost in the crash of Hope resetting the entire day to just after our team was released. ...But so was the great scourge whiped from our team aswell.
The night was spent rebuilding our team with mons like Curse and Amn, Luke, and eventually Hope yet again.
The day after was followed by "dragon Sickness" A desperate obsession to catch a dragon as answer for all the evil inflicted upon us. Folley they said, it would never work, they will release it again. all fell to deaf ears as yours truly went on to catch his personal Moby Dick. Against all odds we have convinced Ryukahr to join our cause.
Ive been around since the bronze age of this run, only Amaybe and Chad were on the team back then, and we had just come out of the stone age(defeating Brock) At route 3 a pidgey(Jumbo) was caught while trying to catch a jigglypuff(Pop). But we already had a flyjng type... At cerulean the time came to make room for a new mon Alakazam(abra). We had Jumbo and Chad both face pokemon of a far higher level as a test. Jumbo failed where Chad succeeded. So Jumbo was deposited... (It is this very event that would intice the war of the birds.) Curse(oddish) was caught at random north of cerulean, which is the reason she was named Curse, because she blocked us from reaching our goal of catching a Abra(a attempt was made to name her Cursed, but failed due to too many people interfering) One night a japanese player "Verunu" managed to catch Abra and named him Alakazam ironically causing mass confusion throughout the run.th Just after beating Misty many attempts were made to kill our team, and throw away our items. This lasted untill after vermilion. Things were smooth sailing for a while after this, many joined our cause and only minor incidents happened. an One such semi minor thing is having someone use dig just before reaching the light of day at the end of Rock tunnel, costing us a day to recover from. Chad easily swep Erika's gym even while poisoned. Pokemon tower at Lavender was overcome without trouble. We easily caught TPP the Snorlax. The next real problem was lag, at route 12 through 15 we suffered heavily from it. Each one almost taking a entire day to get through. route 13 and 14 are notorious for extreme lag taking upwards of 30 inputs to move a single step. The safari zone was a nice change of pace, quick response time... Amaybe evolved into a Blastoise around this time and we decided to face Koga's annoying/psychic type gym. we easily swep him with Alakazam, but a crash forced us to challenge him again. We lost Alakazam early due to a critical hit, but Abbpri swept him, even though a massive self destruct took him out too. Chad flew us back home, and we took on the pokemon mansion and Blane's gym. But halfway through a voice called to us, to fly back to Veridian city to talk to a drunk guy and return to the twilight shores of Cinnabar island. Once we did a mysterious entity only known as "'M" bestowed upon us more candy than a child can dream of in thanks for setting it free. Amaybe swept Blaine, even though he only ate three pieces of candy. Then we traveled to Saffron, the city of death Kicking team rocket out of Silph Co took days, but in the end we defeated them and were granted the masterball for it. Then late at night we went on to Sabrinas gym...
